"Your Highness" aurait des échos catastrophiques.

J'avoue avoir peur de la vulgarité de ce film et pourtant, j'aime bien "Pineapple Express".

Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to return to Hollywood and, according to Variety, he's narrowed down his first new project to either The Last Stand or The Tomb.

The Last Stand is the first American film from Kim Jee-woon (I Saw the Devil, The Good, The Bad, The Weird) and tells the story of an American sheriff battling against a Mexican drug cartel. In a recent interview with ComingSoon.net, Jee-woon described the project as follows:

"[I]t's kind of a combination of 'Die Hard' and 'High Noon' where (the latter) was about protecting something very important that needs to be protected, while 'Die Hard' is a very drawn-out, long process that almost kills someone in the process. So my film will be something that has to be very well protected and, in the process, we almost die protecting it in a way."

The Tomb, meanwhile, is set to arrive from Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Brookyln's Finest) and features an expert prison designer who has to escape from the very structure that he helped create.

It is possible that Schwarzenegger will take both projects, but scheduling would likely have to be reworked to accomodate the casting, should he sign on.


Ce serait intéressant de le voir bosser avec Kim Jee-woon.

Deadpool sera le premier film d'un spécialiste des SFX, Tim Miller.

Les Beastie Boys vont sortir un moyen métrage avec leur nouvel album, le casting comprend Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood, John C Reilly, Will Ferrel, Danny McBride, Susan Sarandon et Mark Strong !

Director Douglas Trumbull, whose past credits include Silent Running and doing the effects work for 2001: A Space Odyssey, is planning to direct a new film that will be in 3D and utilize higher frame rates. As James Cameron recently explained at CinemaCon, films that shoot in 48 or 60 frames per second can provide a greater clarity and picture than movies that shoot at the traditional 24fps. Trumbull planned to shoot his last feature film, 1983’s Brainstorm, at 60fps but eventually it was shot at 24fps. THR reports that there are no plot details regarding Trumbull’s new film, but he is currently at work on the screenplay and he has formed a new production company, Magnetar Productions.

Matt Reeves will next write and direct a film based on the Ray Nelson short story 8 O’Clock in the Morning which was also the basis for the cult classic John Carpenter film They Live. In the short story, the main character wakes up one morning and realizes aliens exist and are all around us, we just can’t see them. In Carpenter’s film, characters saw the aliens through the use of glasses but that won’t be the case here and Reeves’ film is not considered a remake.

"I saw an opportunity to do a movie that was very point-of-view driven, a psychological science fiction thriller that explores this guy’s nightmare. There could be a desperate love story at the center of this. Carpenter took a satirical view of the material and the larger political implication that we’re being controlled. I am very drawn to the emotional side, the nightmare experience with the paranoia of Invasion of the Body Snatchers or a Roman Polanski-style film."

Cela dit, je suis méchant. Kramer est pas un mec inintéressant...The Cooler c'était moyen, Running Scared c'était pas mal mais paraît que Crossing Over est tout pourri.

A voir.

Kramer s'est barré et Stallone a donc fait appel à...Walter Hill.
