Pearls L'AMOUR EST UN CRIME PARFAIT (LOVE IS THE PERFECT CRIME) ARNAUD & JEAN-MARIE LARRIEU (FRANCE) The new film from the Larrieu brothers takes place in an area of mountains and lakes somewhere between Switzerland and France. Marc, in his forties, is a professor of literature at the University of Lausanne. He has one love affair after another with his students. Still single, he lives with his sister Marianne. Winter has almost ended, when one of his most brilliant students, Barbara, disappears. Two days later, he meets Anna, Barbara’s mother, who wants to find out more about her vanished daughter.
DALLAS BUYERS CLUB JEAN-MARC VALLÉE (USA) The Canadian Jean-Marc Vallée made an international name for himself with his prizewinning film C.R.A.Z.Y. (2005) and has since directed The Young Victoria (2009) and Café de Flore (2011). In the fact-based drama, Spirit Award winner Matthew McConaughey portrays real-life Texas electrician Ron Woodroof, an ordinary man who found himself in a life-or-death battle with the medical establishment and pharmaceutical companies. In 1985, Ron was blindsided by being diagnosed as HIV-positive and given 30 days to live. With the U.S. still internally divided over how to combat the virus and restricting medications, Ron grabbed hold of non-toxic alternative treatments from all over the world by means both legal and illegal. Seeking to avoid government sanctions against selling non-approved medicines and supplements, he established a “buyers club,” which fellow HIV-positive people could join for access to his supplies.
New Directors PARAÍSO (PARADISE) MARIANA CHENILLO (MEXICO) The second film by award-winning director Marianna Chenillo is a touching comedy about how true beauty comes from the inside and paradise is closer to home than you might think.Carmen and Alfredo live a happy, quiet life in the suburbs surrounded by friends and family. After Alfredo receives a promotion, the two move away to Mexico City where they immediately feel the social pressure of being overweight in a bustling metropolis full of beautiful people. Taking the initiative, Carmen convinces her husband to join her in losing weight, but their relationship is put to the test when Alfredo's program yields far better results than Carmen’s.

Shot in 4K, the documentary offers the spectator the opportunity to take a magic look at the galleries of Spain's biggest museum. The documentary takes us on a tour of the most important schools of painting and their most representative artists, relating them to their corresponding moment in history.
VICENTE FERRER AGUSTÍN CRESPI (SPAIN) Imanol Arias plays Vicente Ferrer, a man who chose action as the way to fight poverty, transforming the barren land of India's dry and dusty Anantapur into a fertile and productive landscape. The film focusses on the last thirty years of the Catalonian Jesuit to narrate his battle against enemies who initially seemed to be unbeatable.
