Spanish director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later, upcoming The Crow reboot) is in discussions to direct the Highlander reboot. The director position became available when Justin Lin dropped out to make Fast Six for Universal Pictures. Neal Moritz and Peter Davis are producing the new take, written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Punisher: War Zone, Iron Man) with a polish from Melissa Rosenberg (The Twilight Saga). MOUAIF. |

Ouais pour le coup je trouve que Highlander c'est purement 80ies et qu'à moins d'avoir une approche totalement différente, des immortels qui se batent au sabre ça va être bien ringard. |

Moi je pense que c'est la franchise (5 films, 2 séries TV, 2 séries animées, un film d'animation, et je parle pas des bouquins et des BD) avec un potentiel de fou mais qui n'a jamais été exploité au mieux... Le premier film et certains épisodes de la série restent ce qu'il y a de meilleur mais traité sérieusement y a moyen de faire un truc épique et émouvant...sauf que ce sera pas le cas. |

A little over a year after he first signed on to the project, director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is leaving Summit Entertainment's upcoming reboot of the Highlander franchise. Deadline has the news, saying that while creative differences between Fresnadillo and the studio led to an amicable split, Ryan Reynolds remains attached to the project to play the leading role. L'inverse eut été mieux. |

Cedric Nicolas-Troyan is set to make his feature directorial debut with the “Highlander” reboot, having served as second unit director and visual effects supervisor on “Snow White and the Huntsman” and "Maleficent". Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man, Punisher War Zone) wrote the script along with Melissa Rosenberg (Twilight). Neal H. Moritz (Fast & Furious) is producing with Peter Davis (Highlander), while Justin Lin (Fast & Furious)will executive produce after previously being attached to direct. Le rôle de Ramirez (ou plus généralement du mentor), tenu par Sean Connery dans les deux premiers films, a été offert à...Tom Cruise. #miscast De toute façon, personne ne rassure dans l'équipe. |
