Legendary a montré un teaser au Comic-Con pour leur projet mystérieux daté au 4 novembre 2016. A voice over delivers lengthy talk about a journey, and the camera goes in from stormy sea towards an island. Monkeys swing in the trees, primordial looking fish jump in the surf. Lightning cracks overhead. The camera comes to a huge wall, lit with torches. It goes up a mountain, which from a certain angle looks to be a skull. Then a jungle forest rustles and something huge comes into frame... and the recognizable classic King Kong stands up, beats his chest and then it smash cuts to Skull Island. The studio put out a news release that includes this line: Previous works have touched on the island, but staying and exploring this mysterious and dangerous place offers Legendary the opportunity to take audiences deeper inside this rich world with a style and scope that parallels other Legendary productions. The release mentions Skull Island is the 'cinematic origin' of King Kong, but it's unclear if that means they're doing a prequel. And the other big question: does this mean Legendary could be working towards a Godzilla and King Kong crossover? Un nouveau King Kong? En préquelle? Avec crossover potentiel? Ça schlingue. |

J'suis partant pour un Godzilla vs King Kong. Quant à Skull Island y'a du potentiel (pour un foirage également). |
