Et le film 24 est "repoussé" aprés saison 7

Kiefer Sutherland will spend his "24" hiatus starring in Mirrors, a supernatural thriller to be directed by Alexandre Aja, reports Variety. New Regency is financing the film and will distribute through 20th Century Fox.

Sutherland became available to star in the movie when plans to carry his Jack Bauer character into a "24" feature were postponed because the script wasn't ready. Fox won't start the clock on that film until next summer, when Sutherland completes the seventh season of the show.

In Mirrors, Sutherland will play an ex-cop who works security at a mall and discovers something awry in the mirrors of a department store. He tries to discover the origin of the evil.

The producers are Marc Sternberg, Alexandra Milchan and Gregory Levasseur. Andrew Hong is executive producer.

Aja, who last directed the hit genre remake The Hills Have Eyes, wrote the most recent draft of the script. Shooting starts on May 1 in Romania.

Aja qui remake une daube...qu'est ce qu'il fout la dedans? La colline a des yeux, ok. Mais ça!
comme il est plutôt doué, il devrait sortir un film potable.

C'est vrai que l'original en tient une sacrée couche niveau merdiquitude. Après je pense qu'ils vont juste garder le décor et la vague idée de départ (de toute façon tout le reste est à foutre au broyeur).

Oui c'est typiquement le genre d'association assez imprévisible mais qui fait plaisir à l'arrivée.

Intro de la critique de CHUD, c'est violent :

Watching Mirrors you will go through stages. Stage one is slight interest - the pre-credits sequence is well done, and promises something intriguing. Stage two will be mild disbelief - could the movie actually have gone this badly off the rails only ten minutes in? Surely it has to pick up from here. Stage three is giggling, especially whenever Kiefer Sutherland opens his mouth and delivers another FURIOUS line of Jack Bauer-esque dialogue. Stage four is actual guffawing, probably more loudly than you laughed during Step Brothers. Stage five is realizing that this goddamned movie is almost two hours long and the joke is on you.

I really like Alex Aja and his previous movies, but he has not only made the worst film of his career in Mirrors, he's made possibly the worst film of the year.

Vu la bande-annonce qui crie "ce film est une grosse bouse avec des effets mille fois vus", ça ne m'étonne même pas cette critique !
