Rumor has it that both Supergirl and Bizarro might be introduced in the direct sequel to Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel, and that they'll both factor into Brainiac's plan to get his hands on the codex that Zod was after in the first movie! Heroic Hollywood reports that the alien android will actually attempt to retrieve said codex from Kara Zoe-El, who did feature in the Man Of Steel prequel comic and is is generally assumed to be the occupant of that empty pod Kal-El (Henry Cavill) takes notice of when he discovers the Kryptonian ship in the first film. Now this doesn't really make a lot of sense given there was only one codex and Jor-El (Russel Crowe) hid it in his son, but they'll most likely come up with some way of explaining that... if this info. is accurate, that is. Anyway, the site also reckons it's Supergirl's involvement that piqued George Miller's interest in the first place, and that - like Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road - she's expected to feature very prominently in the story. So where does Bizarro come in? Well, apparently Brainiac uses what Kryptonian knowledge he does have - an presumably some of Superman's DNA - to create the Man Of Steel's twisted mirror image, and send him after Supergirl. Now keep in mind there is no script for this movie yet (as far as we know, anyway) so all of these details are purported to come from the pitch Snyder and writer David Goyer gave to Warner Bros. when they were tossing around ideas for a Man Of Steel sequel. There's every chance at least some of what is detailed above will make its way into the final film, but as usual, it's all subject to change. En gros : George Miller serait intéressé, parce que, dans le pitch de Snyder et Goyer, Supergirl aurait un rôle important. Brainiac essaierait de pécho le codex que Zod voulait dans le premier film en envoyant Bizarro traquer Supergirl. S'ils font Bizarro en film, c'est balls of steel. PS : Miller hésiterait entre ce film et le Justice League Dark abandonné par Del Toro. |

Bon, c'est cool tout ça, mais les scénarios à base de McGuffin, ça devient fatigant quand même. |

Surtout si c'est LE MÊME que dans le 1. Après, par "définition", on s'en fout, c'est un McGuffin. Mais ce serait bien de le soigner au moins. Dans le premier, ça a du sens vu que tout le film traite de l'identité de Kale-El, de son rôle, etc. |

Supergirl ça risque de donner une overdose de Kriptoniens après Zod. Bizarro c'est oui s'ils vont au bout du concept et font Bizarro World, pas juste un clone de Superman. |

Surtout que le planning DC est hyper chargé si on rajoute des films solos Batman. Et puis tant qu'à faire, JL Dark devrait être hors continuité, sinon ça va être le foutoir. |

Sources tell us that Matthew Vaughn is Warner Bros.’ top choice to direct Man of Steel 2, and preliminary conversations about the prospect have taken place. Moreover, sources tell us that if Vaughn for some reason doesn’t direct Man of Steel 2, Warner Bros. still wants him to helm another superhero movie in the DCEU. Back in 2010, reports surfaced that Vaughn and Kick-Ass comic writer Mark Millar had pitched their take on a Superman movie to Warner Bros. only for the studio to go with Nolan and Goyer’s take. Vaughn subsequently clarified he only had a brief chat with WB about making a Superman movie, but he did offer his thoughts on what a Superman film should be : “I think that’s the one thing not to do with Superman, trying to do the serious The Dark Knight version. Superman is about color and fun, or it should be, for me.” These comments were obviously made before Man of Steel had entered production. Vu son passif de mec qui s'attache à des blockbusters adaptés de licences de comics, je n'y crois pas...mais j'adorerai le voir revenir à un cinéma premier degré. |
