Et tout ça en direct du boulot !

Très content pour Démineurs. Je ne suis pas un fan ultime du film, que je trouve trop long de trente bonnes minutes, mais niveau mise en scène et montage, ça déboite. Puis Cameron l'a déjà eu, et je trouve ça bien, pour une fois, de filer l'oscar à un si "petit" film - qui pour le coup a obtenu un vrai triomphe critique.

Assez déçu pour le Audiard, mais bien plus encore pour mon favori (Le Ruban blanc).

Amusé par le diptyque Bullock (razzie et oscar le même week-end).

Et cocorico pour le court-métrage d'animation, c'est déjà ça (on est bon en courts métrages !).

On est bons en animation surtout [les meilleures écoles au monde, ou du moins les plus réputées] sont françaises.

Oui, tu sens le prix de gros quand The Hurt Locker obtient meilleur scénario alors que le problème du film c'est justement sa construction en vignettes et des personnages et un propos qui auraient mérité plus ample exploitation, le tout formant un film formellement impressionnant (Oscars réa et montage et sons tout à fait mérités) mais presque inconséquent au final (Oscar film pas mérité).

Pour ce qui est de la cérémonie en elle-même...bah ça doit être la première année où je ris davantage aux César qu'aux Oscars...le duo de vieux était sympatoche mais niveau stand up, on est quand même grave en deçà de Jon Stewart (et de Billy Crystal évidemment).

Niveau spectacle aussi, on est vraiment un cran en dessous des efforts de l'an dernier, suffit de voir le fossé entre l'inventivité et l'énergie du numéro musical d'ouverture de l'an passé et le classicisme de cleui de cette année.

Y a eu quelques bonnes blagues dans certaines présentations (Downey Jr. toujours impérial), d'autres plus convenues mais sympa (Stiller en Na'vi), puis des fois c'était juste walou (tous les jeunots).

L'hommage à John Hughes était pas mal...les break dancers pour l'Oscar de la musique c'était à chier.

Et la remise de l'Oscar du Meilleur Film torché comme ça...triste.

Ah j'ai oublié de mentionner les commentateurs de Canal+, aka le réal honteux et les deux journalistes amateurs.

J'ai vu pire dans le genre obsolète et chauvin mais on croirait vraiment des débutants des fois.

Bon ben c'était une cérémonie sans grand génie, certes, mais qui passait comme une lettre à la poste. Un peu à l'image du duo de présentateurs, sans grand moment de folie, mais marrant, tout simples, avec la dynamique entre eux à base d'auto-dépreciation que j'ai trouvé plutôt marrante.

Au niveau des prix ça fait quand même plaisir que THE HURT LOCKER l'emporte. Je suis pas fou du film comme mes cousins d'outre-Atlantique mais ça fait plaisir de voir les Oscars récompenser ce tout petit film, sur un sujet pas facile, moult fois reporté et qui s'est planté en salles.

OBJECTIVEMENT, Cameron aurait mérité l'Oscar du réal, vu l'incroyable truc technologique qu'il a lancé et qu'il a du gérer, mais ça fait plaisir pour Bigelow. Mon pote Seb me faisait remarquer tout à l'heure que Besson devait l'avoir bien mauvaise (rapport à lui qui lui avait volé son projet JEANNE D'ARC y a 12 ans, etc.)

AVATAR gagne en Meilleure photo: respect absolu. Contrairement à ce que certains de mes compagnons de visionnage semblaient penser hier, rarement un prix a été aussi merité. Mauro Fiore a fait un truc de fou, cet espèce de film multimédia, où ils ont tourné à la fois en 3D et en même temps sur des plateaux qui servaient simultanément de volume de capture...
Je sais que personne le fera, mais écoutez cette interview de Cameron et vous comprendrez le travail de fou du chef op sur ce film.

Au niveau de mes pronos, je m'étais décidé, comme il y a 2 ans, à coller au plus près au consensus le plus rigoureux. Ca m'a permis de faire un max de points sur des trucs du genre le film argentin en Meilleur film étranger, mais en même temps les courts-métrages ont presque tous surpris (THE DOOR qui s'est fait niquer, etc.)

Du coup, les rares occasions où je me suis laissé porter par mon instinct à l'encontre du bon sens m'ont fait perdre des points (THE HURT LOCKER en scénario... et surtout en meilleur film. J'avais mis AVATAR et BASTERDS pour le script. Bad idea).
